Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
