It's difficult for Australia to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a side that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowlers that have represented Australia over five decades.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if we do, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a belief they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
